It is and remains so far only one assumption that this manufacturer could actually be “Lind and Meyrer”.

The design of the pieces is similar to the pieces of the manufacturer “Hermann Aurich, Dresden”.

The extent to which the two manufacturers have cooperated could not yet be determined.  

So far only one infantry assault badge with “LM” mark is known to me. In the evaluation catalog of “Detlev Niemann” (ISBN: 3-934001-00-9) is the reverse side of the badge with the typical “LM” maker’s mark shown above.
